Xenophobia: first batch of Nigerians leave South Africa

After a lot of tensions between Nigerians in South Africa, some of them have finally decided to relocate back home.

The early hours of last week wasn’t a good one, as South Africans started a xenophobia attack on foreigners and Nigerians were their main target.

After a lot of destructions of properties and goods of some Nigerians in South Africa, Nigerians in turn had a reprisal attacked on South African’s companies in Nigeria.

Also an indigenous Airline, Airpeace later decided to go rescue Nigerians from the hands of their attackers by sending their planes to pickup voluntary Nigerians who are ready to go home.

Today, it seems the gesture has paid off, as some Nigerians have started relocating back home.
